Open As Usual is a clothing store with a focus on well-crafted wardrobe staples and useful accessories for men and women.

We promote effortless, timeless style and work with a carefully curated selection of brands from all over the world. Our brands share a common desire to create products that are beautiful through their simplicity and functionality.

Each season is carefully curated with two key principles in mind; rigorous design and outstanding craft.

We know that requirements for wardrobe staples are evolving along with our lifestyles, so we offer the most innovative products alongside our classic pieces. Regardless of what happens in the ever-unpredictable world of fleeting trends, we’ll be Open As Usual.

We stock a range brands including AER, Cul de Sac, Haeckels, Handvaerk, Lunge, Niuhans, Paa, STORY mfg, United Athle and many more from the US, Japan, Europe and UK.

Location and Opening Times

Our retail space and studio are housed together in New Cross, South London. 

There is nothing like seeing our products in person, so we run a very casual appointments system during the week and walk-ins Saturdays and Sundays to ensure you can visit, have a chat and shop in a relaxed space.

Our New Cross Store will be closed Sun 12th–Sat 18th of March. 

Weds–Fri 11–8pm (Contact for appointments)
Sat 11–6pm (Walk-ins)
Sun 11–4pm (Walk-ins)

Getting here

The nearest overground stations are New Cross Gate (10 mins walk) Queen’s Road Peckham (13 mins walk).

If walking from New Cross Gate, we suggest you take a shortcut through the TK Maxx carpark directly next to the station on the right, go past TK Maxx, down the ramp, then to the end of Hatcham Park Road to get onto New Cross Road.

There are bus stops right outside the shop: 21, 53, 172, 453

Get off at Briant Street

Look out for the ‘New Cross Tandoori’ sign — we’re directly beneath it.
