London-based Story mfg. takes a refreshingly slow approach to making clothes. Driven by an ethos that states how buying less is the only sustainable way to live, the brand seeks to make clothes that last and forgo the need to be repurchased over time. And should an item be discarded, the brand has this covered: all items are biodegradable, and will enrich soil once thrown away.

Story mfg. avoids the use of animal products and toxic chemicals, and makes a meticulous effort to meet every maker involved in production – enabling the brand to maintain a uniquely high standard of ethics.

Made from a heavyweight denim that’s been naturally dyed to produce a deep indigo colour with a royal blue tint. The fabric is 100% organic cotton and has stiff drape that gives the garment a structured look, which will relax with wash and wear. Please note that the natural dye will take on different shades throughout the garment’s lifetime.

The garment has a clean, simple appearance with a neat collar, self-finishing welt seams, and large front patch pockets that reach the double-fold hem. The corozo buttons are removable if you’d prefer to wear the jacket open

Riaz is 185cm / 6’1, usually wears a Large, has a 30” waist and is wearing a M.
